रोबोटिक्स-सहाय्यित रिप्लेसमेंट शस्त्रक्रिया ही ऑर्थोपेडिक सर्जरीमध्ये गुड्या (knee) व खुबे (Hip) बदलण्याच्या पद्धतीत एक प्रगती आहे. एक प्रगत संगणक प्रोग्राम द्वारे सर्जन रोबोटिक (AI) उपकरणाला अचूक, रिअल-टाइम माहिती रिले करतो व जॉईटचे अद्वितीय आकार मॅप केले जाते. त्यानंतर मूळ गुडघ्याचा 3D मॉक-अप तयार केला जातो, ज्यावर संगणक इम्प्लांट (रिप्लेसमेंट घटक) कस्टम फिट करण्याचा आणि आकार देण्याचा प्रयत्न करतो. डॉक्टरांनी ही योजना मंजूर केल्यानंतर, रीसरफेसिंग एका विशेष रोबोटिक्स-सहाय्यित Saw & Burr रोबोटिक (A)) हेंडपीससह अंमलात आणले जाते, जे पूर्व-परिभाषित सीमांमध्ये कार्य करते, ऊतींचे, नसांचे व Ligaments ची दुखापत होऊ देत नाही आणि मानवी चुका दूर करते.
